Overview In this Risk Manager role, you will support project-level risk activities within the Energy & Natural Resources division. You will help capture risk data, identify threats and opportunities, and ensure risks are managed to meet time, cost, and quality targets. You will work with cross-functional teams across projects of varying scale, driving mitigation actions and robust risk reporting. Responsibilities - Design and tailor risk management processes to client needs and best practices
- Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts
- Create and maintain risk registers and related information
- Enhance risk data quality and robustness
- Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes
- Develop measurable management responses post-mitigation
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule
- Produce timely risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Power BI
- Collaborate with Project Controls to align project information
- Engage with supply chain to incorporate external risks
Key requirements - Professional risk management experience across project lifecycles
- Ability to adjust risk strategies in response to change
- Excellent communication to convey complex risk information
- Familiarity with risk tools such as Safran, @risk, PRA
- Strategic awareness and critical thinking for risk scenario implications
- Able to obtain BPSS level security clearance
- Member of IRM or APM or similar
- Familiarity with ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA risk standards
- Risk qualifications such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR desirable
