Overview In this role you will lead capital water projects within AECOM’s Infrastructure Project Management team, guiding multidisciplinary delivery from inception to commissioning. You’ll collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure client satisfaction on quality, cost, and schedule while mentoring junior staff. The role supports the Environment Agency-framed FRAM programme, delivering safe, efficient flood risk projects across the UK regions. You will drive governance, bid activity, and client relationships in a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment.

Responsibilities - Lead delivery of multi-disciplinary capital water projects within collaborative teams
- Provide client-side PM support through option studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Establish governance, roles, and accountabilities aligned with internal practices
- Manage client, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract aspects of projects
- Mentor Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-functional collaboration
- Support business development and bid submissions
- Oversee subcontractors and remote resources to meet project requirements
Key requirements - Infrastructure project management experience (water industry desirable)
- Experience with NEC contracts (PSC and ECC), NEC ECC accreditation preferred
- Proven ability to work in integrated, multi-organisation teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong network and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to work proactively with Senior Project Managers and Associates
- Experience with client organisations or secondment/co-location
- Strong IT skills, numeracy, and written/verbal communication
