Overview In this role you will support and, where appropriate, lead capital water projects within AECOM's Infrastructure Project Management team. You will work with senior leaders to manage project delivery across the full lifecycle—from inception to site commissioning—on FRAM-water projects for the Environment Agency across the UK. You’ll engage stakeholders, drive procurement and contract administration, and mentor graduates, contributing to safer, cost-effective and timely project outcomes. Responsibilities - Manage and deliver capital water projects as part of or leading a project team
- Provide client-side project management across lifecycle stages: option studies, development, procurement, construction tender support, NEC contract administration, on-site delivery
- Participate in meetings, minuting, reporting, procurement strategy and tender documentation
- Engage with clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver within agreed parameters and resolve disputes
- Manage risk, quality, schedule, H&S, and contract management from client side
- Develop client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Support business development with existing and new clients
- Provide contract management support under NEC4 and administer via contract management systems
- Advise on procurement strategies and tender documentation
- Provide mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices
Key requirements - Infrastructure project management experience in water industry
- Knowledge of NEC contracts (PSC and ECC) with NEC ECC Accreditation desired
- Experience in integrated, multi-organisation teams
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relationship-building with clients, teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work on own initiative with Senior PMs/Associates
- Team-player with positive, adaptable attitude
- Strong IT skills and numeracy/written communication abilities
- Experience in managing project outputs to time, cost and quality
