Overview As Project Manager at AJ Bell, you will oversee technology-led initiatives end-to-end, guiding them from entry through go-live and post-implementation. You’ll work across internal teams and with third-party suppliers to deliver change that supports the evolving tech landscape and regulatory expectations. You’ll balance scope, budgets, and risks while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities - Lead delivery of multiple technology-led projects and initiatives
- Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to implement hybrid solutions
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Define project scope and develop plans; lead the project team
- Produce resource forecasts and budgets; monitor progress
- Apply change control procedures as needed
- Report project status to sponsors and stakeholders
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies with a focus on customer outcomes
- Support regulatory requirements including consumer duty
- Protect customers and improve customer experience
Key requirements - Strong technical knowledge with ability to quickly understand technical topics
- Experience with IT development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SDLC)
- Excellent verbal and written communication; relationship-building
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong planning and organizational skills; high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Financial services industry knowledge is beneficial
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is desirable
- Experience delivering projects in a financially regulated environment is desirable
