Overview In this role you lead the development of new products from planning to launch within the New Product Development Team. You coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure schedules, quality, and cost targets are met, enabling a seamless release to customers. You manage risks, communicate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement. The position combines leadership of ambitious, high-tech projects with collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, service, and operations to deliver impactful innovations.

Responsibilities - Lead project deliverables across stage-gate development
- Track and report progress, costs, risks, and issues at business level with engineering teams
- Build and maintain a collaborative cross-functional project team
- Ensure project schedule, features, quality, and costs meet business requirements
- Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Service and Operations for a seamless release and transition to routine shipping
- Advise on process continuous improvement opportunities
- Occasional travel to Ulm site
Key requirements - Proven track record delivering product development projects in a high-tech environment
- Experience with releasing products containing new software and hardware technology
- Familiar with project management tools (Microsoft Project, issue tracking systems) and status reporting
- Experience leading agile projects (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
- Azure DevOps experience is advantageous
- Physics or Science Degree and formal PM training
