Overview In this role you lead end-to-end delivery of business change projects within Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and on budget. You’ll work closely with IT, data, and SME stakeholders to drive value from change initiatives and align with the Global Change Portfolio. The role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic oversight to realise measurable benefits. Responsibilities - Lead and drive project delivery with stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date project plan with progress tracking
- Allocate and manage project resources and budgets
- Develop, approve and monitor business cases and benefit realisation
- Perform change impact assessments and stakeholder readiness
- Coordinate communications internally and with external parties (TPAs/fronting companies)
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with senior stakeholders and SMEs
- Monitor progress, report status, and take corrective actions as needed
- Ensure quality of project documentation and outputs
- Support wider Project Delivery team through knowledge sharing
- Perform additional project delivery activities as needed
Key requirements - Experience delivering business-focused transformational changes in insurance, including Guidewire implementations
- Proven track record managing multi-functional workstreams (8–20+ FTE) aligned to a Target Operating Model
- Budget ownership of 1–5m with 6–18+ month timelines
- Ability to handle complex requirements in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Experience working with IT project managers and change functions across regions/markets
- Insurance industry knowledge with understanding of London market and specialty insurance
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level decision-making skills
- Adaptive communication across levels and channels to engage stakeholders
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid)
