Overview In this role you will lead piling projects nationwide, coordinating resources, safety, and profitability. You will work closely with main contractors to secure access and information, while guiding site teams across multiple projects. You’ll apply your piling expertise to plan, monitor, and adapt activities, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This position offers a chance to shape delivery on diverse civil works and travel across the UK when required.
Responsibilities - Plan and manage piling projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with main contractor for access, platforms, and resources
- Record instructions, variations, delays, and disruptions
- Order, prioritise, and control materials and staffing
- Maintain project profitability and cost control
- Ensure health and safety compliance on site
- Enhance company image through professional delivery
Key requirements - Civil Engineering/Geotechnical qualification
- Accredited Temporary Works Coordinator
- Appointed Person for lift operations
- Solid piling experience with a piling contractor
- Proven project management experience
- Exposure and understanding of piling design
- Ability to motivate and lead teams
