Overview In this role you will lead large education- or healthcare-focused construction projects from kick-off to handover. You will join a growing main contractor with a new southern operation, helping expand market presence while delivering projects on time and within budget. You’ll work closely with a quantity surveyor and other stakeholders to manage scope, risks, and delivery of schemes up to £50M. This is a career-advancing opportunity in a dynamic, expanding company. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of large build projects (hospital/education) from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with the quantity surveyor to manage budget and cost controls
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to required standards
- Manage stakeholder relationships across the project team and client
- Oversee planning, procurement, and construction activities for the project
- Report progress and risks to senior management
Key requirements - Experience as a project manager within a main contractor
- Proven track record delivering healthcare or educational projects on time
