Overview In this role, you lead delivery of water and utility projects within the Asset Design team, guiding multidisciplinary teams from optioning to handover. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and risk while ensuring high-quality delivery and health and safety focus. You work across infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects for water industry and industrial clients, contributing to landmark schemes. Responsibilities - Lead delivery of multidisciplinary projects from optioning through handover
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close defined projects or work packages
- Own P&L, manage budgets, forecasts, risks, and cash collection
- Develop project management documentation (plans, schedules, risk registers, org charts)
- Monitor schedule, manhours, budgets, and expenditure
- Ensure contract administration and change management
- Manage project team members and ensure outputs meet requirements
- Communicate project information clearly to team and client
- Proactively address issues and conflicts to protect delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams and promote continuous improvement
Key requirements - Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects
- NEC contracts knowledge and practical administration skills
- Membership of APM, PMI, MICE or equivalent
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management
