Overview As ECC Project Manager, you will drive delivery across the full project lifecycle, from appraisal to construction and handover, in alignment with HM Treasury governance. You will lead a delivery team, manage stakeholders, risks, and commercial objectives, and maintain strong client communications. This role sits within the Advisory and Programme Delivery unit, guiding water and environment initiatives and complex capital programmes. You’ll shape outcomes for clients, communities, and colleagues through disciplined governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end project delivery across appraisal, planning, detailed design, construction, and delivery phases
- Manage delivery teams and key stakeholders to meet objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities
- Ensure reporting and information delivery to time and quality standards for commercial objectives
- Maintain clear client and programme communications
- Own the project programme and coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams to keep it updated
Key requirements - Project management experience across multiple disciplines
- Experience managing projects in the Water and Environment Sector
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and practical application
- Full membership or working towards membership of a relevant chartered body (MAPM, MCIWEM, MICE, MCIOB, MRICS, etc.)
- A degree in engineering or project management subject
- A professional qualification with APM or Prince2
- Excellent written and oral communication
