Overview Join Turner & Townsend in Manchester as a Project Manager within the Real Estate team. You will lead end-to-end project commissions, act as the primary client interface, and ensure projects hit time, cost and quality targets. You’ll set success criteria, govern processes, plan and monitor delivery, and coordinate a cross‑functional team. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management commissions
- Be the day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met and projects deliver on time, cost and quality
- Manage commissions up to 40m (larger in advisory contexts such as urban regeneration funding)
- Advise at project conception on approaches to achieve objectives
- Establish overall success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems
- Produce detailed project plan and oversee procurement of resources
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project team
- Monitor performance using KPIs to improve delivery
- Manage change control processes
- Monitor and advise on project finances
- Oversee information flow and reporting to client and consultants
- Interfacing with client and other consultants at all stages
Key requirements - Degree in relevant discipline (desirable)
- Proven experience managing construction/refurbishment projects, ideally in a consultancy environment (essential)
