Overview In this role you will deliver full project management and building surveying services for clients across multiple sectors from our Milton Keynes office. You will shape briefs, manage design reviews, and act as employer’s agent through construction, ensuring timely progress and defect rectification. You’ll carry out surveying duties, liaise with clients and teams, and contribute to business development. Responsibilities - Provide end-to-end project management and building surveying services across sectors
- Develop client requirements and project brief; advise on design and team selection
- Prepare employer’s requirements and act as employer’s agent during construction
- Chair and manage progress, design, and other meetings; track actions
- Oversee inspections, practical completion, defects, and rectification period
- Conduct building surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, and maintenance projects
- Maintain client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
- Keep up-to-date with legislation through CPD and share knowledge
- Liaise with internal functions and ensure timely administration (timesheets, expenses)
- Adhere to health and safety, quality, and equipment procedures
- Perform additional duties as required
Key requirements - A relevant university degree, or equivalent
- Experience advising on a range of building-related matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Client-focused mindset and willingness to exceed expectations
- Commercial awareness and ability to prioritise workload
