About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the end-to-end project plan for the cloud infrastructure migration, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote work culture.
- Manage all phases of the migration process, from initial assessment and planning through execution, testing, and post-migration support.
- Oversee the technical aspects of the migration, ensuring compatibility, data integrity, and system performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, reporting progress and key issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project roadblocks.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements throughout the migration.
- Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, external vendors, and cloud service providers.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation before and after migration to ensure successful transition.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying them to future projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on cloud migrations (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote, high-performing teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, services, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a strong asset.
