About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee building projects in and around Sunderland . You will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to final handover, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual obligations. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that quality standards are met and client expectations are exceeded. You will be a key player in a team dedicated to delivering high-quality construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, from site acquisition to project completion.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project finances, track expenditures, and manage contract variations.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
