About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital transformation initiatives in Sunderland . This role is pivotal in driving the company's evolution towards a more digital-first operational model, encompassing areas such as customer engagement, internal processes, and data utilization. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex, cross-functional projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple digital transformation projects concurrently.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring efficient utilization and adherence to constraints.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure seamless project integration.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, key milestones, and outcomes to executive management and relevant stakeholders through regular reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in project management , with at least 5 years focused on digital transformation or large-scale technology projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital initiatives, such as cloud migrations, CRM implementations, or e-commerce platform development.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps), and business process re-engineering.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing project budgets exceeding £5 million.
