About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Lead Project Manager to drive strategic projects from inception to completion within their Newcastle upon Tyne operations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for a portfolio of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a high-performance culture and professional growth.
- Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks and best practices across the organization.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships at senior executive levels, ensuring clear communication and buy-in for project initiatives.
- Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for all assigned projects in Newcastle upon Tyne .
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management office (PMO) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Project Management , with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex, and cross-functional projects from initiation to closure.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
