Project Manager - Software Development . Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional software development teams, utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, task breakdown, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between development teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and status reports.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best practices in software development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and team productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies and practices.
- Experience managing projects using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Solid technical background with an understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Experience in stakeholder management and client communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMP certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
