About the Role

This role involves managing projects from the initial tender stage through to final handover, ensuring all aspects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The position requires a combination of on-site presence for critical project phases and remote work for planning and administrative tasks, offering a flexible hybrid arrangement. You will be responsible for coordinating site teams, managing subcontractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Oversee on-site operations, ensuring safety regulations and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
- Control project costs and manage budget adherence, approving expenditures and tracking financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and legal requirements.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare project reports and conduct regular progress meetings.
- Manage the handover process and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Experience with project management software and scheduling tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications (e.g., CIOB, APM).
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites as needed.
