About the Role
Our client, a prominent property developer with a strong presence in the UK, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee their upcoming construction and development projects in the **Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK** region. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality developments, from initial planning and design through to final handover. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a site-based role requiring consistent presence in the **Milton Keynes** area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving any issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
- Oversee the handover process, ensuring all project deliverables are met and documented.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or property development sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD software is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working directly on construction sites in **Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK**, or similar locations.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel within the region as needed.
