About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept IT Project Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role is central to the successful delivery of various IT projects, including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from conception and planning to execution and closure, ensuring that all IT projects align with business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess a strong understanding of IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation through to successful completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure that IT projects adhere to security policies, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an IT Project Manager , with a focus on software development and infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of IT principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Experience working in the Milton Keynes area is an advantage.
