About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated IT Project Manager to join their operations in Milton Keynes . This role is pivotal in managing the successful implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You will work closely with IT departments and business units to translate requirements into actionable project plans and oversee their execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with excellent project management skills, contributing to the enhancement of the company's technological infrastructure and supporting its strategic objectives through effective IT project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential roadblocks to relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and network projects.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Willingness to work full-time in our Milton Keynes office.
