Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage IT infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technical requirements.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resource needs, and budget constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, and critical path analysis.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and external services, managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Implement rigorous risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices throughout project execution.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and business units, providing regular status updates.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct post-project reviews, documenting lessons learned and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale infrastructure projects in a complex organizational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of various IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies like PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or ITIL. PMP certification is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control for large projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
