About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing software house specialising in bespoke CRM solutions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead their software development teams. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from **Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK**, or any other location within the UK. You will be responsible for managing the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and sprint planning through to deployment and post-launch support. The role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple software development projects simultaneously using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release schedules.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective team communication and productivity.
- Identify, track, and resolve project impediments and risks proactively.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, optimising for efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous improvement.
- Conduct post-project analysis to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with software development concepts, tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on time and within budget.
- Experience in client-facing roles, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
