About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing retail organization situated in Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK , is looking for an innovative Digital Transformation Project Manager. This pivotal role will involve leading and implementing strategic digital initiatives designed to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of digital transformation projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of new digital platforms, tools, and processes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies relevant to the retail sector.
Requirements
- Significant experience managing digital transformation and change management projects.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, e-commerce platforms, and data analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
