About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding online retail company, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee the development and enhancement of their e-commerce platform. This role is based in **Liverpool, Merseyside, UK**, but offers a remote working option. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from gathering requirements and defining scope to coordinating development teams, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful launch of new features and functionalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, agile methodologies, and a proven ability to deliver complex digital projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of e-commerce platform development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and development teams to define project scope, requirements, and user stories.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring timely completion of sprints and releases.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units.
- Ensure the deployed features meet quality standards and business objectives.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate post-launch monitoring and support.
- Track project progress, manage backlog, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of e-commerce trends and technologies to recommend improvements and new features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with a focus on e-commerce or digital product development.
- Proven experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, web technologies, and online customer journeys.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and A/B testing concepts is a plus.
- Must have the legal right to work in the **United Kingdom**.
