About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented Digital Project Manager to lead exciting e-commerce initiatives from their base supporting **Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, UK**. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital transformation and delivering exceptional online customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of e-commerce projects, from initial concept and design through to development, launch, and ongoing optimization. Collaboration with marketing, UX/UI design, development, and data analytics teams will be key to success. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for e-commerce platform projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, development, and QA.
- Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
- Ensure projects align with business goals and deliver a superior customer experience online.
- Manage project budgets and track expenditure effectively.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment of new features and functionalities.
- Conduct post-launch analysis and gather insights for continuous improvement of the e-commerce platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO, SEM, and content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with web technologies and development processes.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
