About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of the construction project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Procure necessary permits and licences from appropriate authorities.
- Manage project budgets and control expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards and safety regulations on all project sites.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular site visits (where feasible and required) and virtual progress meetings.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately filed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and collaboration tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, requiring strong self-discipline and organisation.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
