About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Oversee site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety policies and procedures on site.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in construction project management, preferably within the construction sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing commercial or residential construction projects in Leeds or similar urban environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and standard office suites.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
- Experience in contract administration and risk management.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
