About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead high-profile projects in Leeds . You will be accountable for the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction works, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role demands exceptional leadership capabilities, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to navigate complex challenges inherent in large-scale developments. You will work closely with diverse teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to bring architectural visions to life and contribute significantly to the region's infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee all construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project teams, including site staff and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in construction project management , managing projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and Health & Safety legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex contracts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management software like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
