Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of e-commerce platform projects, from initial concept to final deployment.
- Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, designers, marketers, and operations specialists.
- Oversee website enhancements, new feature rollouts, and the integration of essential e-commerce tools and services.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to online operations and customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, IT, Operations) to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, site speed), and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints, delivering projects on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Drive continuous improvement in e-commerce processes and platform capabilities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with a substantial focus on e-commerce platforms and online retail.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex website development, feature implementation, and system integration projects.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, SEO, and customer experience principles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a software development context.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based, collaborative team environment.
