About the Role
Our client, a dynamic software solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for innovative projects. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, from planning and requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional software development teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and roadblocks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet client expectations and business objectives.
- Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders regularly.
- Oversee the testing and quality assurance phases of software development.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development projects.
- Proven experience managing the full SDLC using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of software development processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate technical teams.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, commuting to the **Sunderland** office as required.
