Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major cloud migration project using Agile principles.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, including roadmaps, sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and mentor distributed project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance in a remote setting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and impediments, escalating where necessary.
- Ensure the project adheres to budget, scope, and quality requirements throughout its lifecycle.
- Champion Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement within the project team and the wider organization.
- Oversee the technical aspects of the cloud migration, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines and security standards.
- Facilitate effective knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members across different time zones.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in project management, with a significant focus on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated success in leading complex IT infrastructure projects, specifically cloud migration initiatives (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to manage remote, distributed teams effectively.
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing project budgets and resource allocation in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote work setting.
