About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of industrial automation projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate effectively with engineering, software development, and installation teams.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure project alignment with their business needs.
- Manage project risks and issues, proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the procurement of equipment and services from vendors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing technology projects.
- Proven experience managing projects involving complex technical systems and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, PLCs, SCADA systems, and control engineering principles.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, including travel to client sites and the **Wolverhampton** office as required.
