About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding global Fintech company, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for leading critical projects within the financial technology space, driving the development and implementation of new products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory compliance, and cutting-edge technology. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Fintech projects, from initiation to successful deployment.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation meticulously.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams including engineering, product, compliance, and operations.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the Fintech sector.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular and transparent project updates.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
- Facilitate virtual team meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Project Manager, with a substantial portion dedicated to the Fintech or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, technology-driven projects.
- Strong understanding of financial products, market regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, AML).
- Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Teams).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Experience with API integrations, blockchain, or AI in finance is a strong plus.
