About the Role
Our client, a well-established professional services firm based in
Bristol, South West England, UK , is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimisation of business systems. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic growth across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing a range of projects focused on CRM, ERP, HRIS, and other critical business applications, from requirements gathering through to system deployment and user training. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex system integration projects in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of business systems projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the selection, configuration, and implementation of new business systems and upgrades.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contracted services meet project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure user adoption.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate system training.
- Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record in implementing and managing business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of business process analysis and system integration.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based business applications.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work model, demonstrating strong self-management skills.
