Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of cloud solutions projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical roadmaps.
- Lead and mentor remote project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for cloud deployments.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all levels of stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations critical to cloud project success.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements within all cloud initiatives.
- Conduct thorough project reviews and post-implementation analyses to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of cloud services and solutions across the organisation through effective change management.
- Champion the use of Agile methodologies and tools to optimise project delivery cycles.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex cloud infrastructure and solutions projects (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to lead and manage distributed/remote teams effectively.
- Expertise in Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management tools and collaboration platforms suitable for remote work.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with a significant focus on cloud technologies.
