About the Role
Our client, a renowned property development firm, is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager for their growing operations in **Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK**. This role is integral to overseeing the successful execution of diverse construction projects, from initial planning stages through to final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and close-out.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Appoint and manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including cost control and contract administration.
- Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with building regulations and health and safety legislation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD software is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., MCIOB, RICS) are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

- Experience with both residential and commercial construction projects is a plus.
