About the Role
Our client, a prominent manufacturing firm with a strong presence in **Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, UK**, is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee key operational improvement projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing and operational projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

- Manage project teams, providing direction, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with various departments, including production, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance.

- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for project-related equipment and services.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in managing operational improvement, process optimization, or capital investment projects.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
