About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting development projects in and around Milton Keynes . This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final completion and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of construction methodologies and a strong commitment to stakeholder satisfaction. This is a key position within a respected construction firm operating in Buckinghamshire .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify and address potential project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager .
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and project management software .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Experience with large-scale residential or commercial building projects is preferred for this role in Milton Keynes .
