About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee significant residential development projects in and around Milton Keynes . You will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all construction activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices prevalent in Buckinghamshire , driving projects that contribute to the region's housing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including site preparation, building, and finishing stages.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and site personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on all construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress reports and addressing concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , with a portfolio of successfully delivered residential developments .
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements in the UK.
- Experience in managing project budgets and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction project management software.
