About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Project Manager to join their distributed team, working from anywhere within the UK. This role is central to coordinating and delivering key business projects, fostering seamless collaboration among geographically dispersed teams. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to execution, monitoring, and successful closure. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong ability to communicate effectively across various digital platforms, ensuring projects achieve their strategic objectives regardless of location.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements, utilizing online collaboration tools effectively.
- Coordinate and facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and communication channels for project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies remotely.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and stored securely in cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate closely with remote team members, product owners, and external partners to ensure project alignment and success.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion of that experience in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum, adapted for remote work.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and project management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information remotely.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a virtual setting is essential.
