About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager focused on Operations to join their team in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This critical role involves leading and managing a variety of operational projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery. You will work closely with operations teams, supply chain, and other departments to implement strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational processes, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to successful completion in a hybrid work setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of operational improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency within operations.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, operational staff, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management , with a strong focus on Operations or process improvement.
- Proven track record of managing complex operational projects and delivering measurable results.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows, supply chain management, and lean principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment is beneficial.
