About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital transformation initiatives within their organisation based in Manchester . You will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution of projects aimed at modernising systems, improving customer experience, and optimising internal processes through technology. This role requires a deep understanding of digital trends, agile methodologies, and change management, working closely with IT, business units, and external partners to deliver impactful solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping the future digital landscape of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for digital transformation programs, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring successful and on-time completion of initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and external vendors.
- Implement agile and lean methodologies to streamline project delivery and maximise efficiency.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success metrics and identify lessons learned for future projects.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation or technology-focused projects.
- Proven experience managing complex software implementation, system integration, or cloud migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering business value.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
