About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee significant IT infrastructure projects for their operations based in Liverpool . This role is integral to the company's technological advancement, involving the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects such as network upgrades, data center modernizations, and cloud migrations. You will lead project teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure that projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and a proven history of managing complex, large-scale technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate and direct the efforts of internal resources and third-party vendors or consultants.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and technology projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations and network upgrades.
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
