About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead the development and execution of renewable energy projects in the Bristol region. You will be responsible for managing all phases of project lifecycles, from feasibility studies and site acquisition to construction, commissioning, and handover. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Oversee site assessment, permitting, and land acquisition processes.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure projects adhere to stringent health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder communications effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management , preferably within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, etc.).
- Demonstrable success in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field is required.
