About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative Senior Project Manager to lead critical Research & Development projects from their world-renowned Cambridge campus. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Research & Development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including scientists, researchers, and engineers.
- Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies for complex R&D projects.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among internal teams and external research partners.
- Track project progress, manage deliverables, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex projects within a Research & Development environment.
- Strong understanding of scientific and/or engineering project lifecycles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
- A relevant scientific or engineering degree is required; a Master's or PhD is highly advantageous.
