About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager specializing in construction projects to join their operations in Sunderland . You will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to site execution and final handover. This role requires a robust understanding of construction methodologies, strong site management skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules, manage resource allocation, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar site management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in construction project management software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
