About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and proactive Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of building projects in the Liverpool area. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and liaise with clients and regulatory bodies. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and excellent leadership skills to drive project success from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel effectively.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar site management role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering various types of construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
