Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Civils Contractor for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong civils background.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing civil engineering projects from start to finish, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the delivery of civils projects from commencement through to completion.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Monitor progress, programme and project performance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, reporting and site records.
- Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and specification.
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the civils/construction sector.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering works and processes.
- Experience managing teams, subcontractors and multiple project activities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements.
- Ability to manage programmes, budgets and deadlines.
- Relevant construction/civils qualifications preferred.
Qualifications:
- CSCS Black card
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous Project Manager experience
- Previous Civils experience
