About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead significant construction projects in Derby . You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and stakeholder management. You will be instrumental in driving project success, managing all aspects of the site operations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design through to completion and handover.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, health and safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Manage and motivate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Implement risk management strategies and proactively address potential issues to minimise delays and cost overruns.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Construction Project Manager with experience in diverse projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management software, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex budgets and schedules effectively.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIOB, RICS) or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with construction regulations and practices in the UK .
